"How can you love when you hate?"

recently, this question keep popping in my mind.

ain't you agree with me that it's not easy to be kind and show love towards the person you dislike?

well, let's ponder on this sentence. "When you dislike someone, there will be another someone out there who dislike you as well. But you have to know what is right and do it right."

Hatred is suffering because you'll constantly in a negative mood whenever you think of that someone.

Love irrationally and forgive without reason.

Day 15 of LOVE

went church service last weekend and the speaker of the night was Rev Kevin Loo. if you have not heard about him before, I strongly encourage you to get his sermon CD and listen to his teaching and sharing. although I've been listening him to preach a lot of times on different topics, I still looking forward for his sermon if I know he's the speaker of the week. he's just naturally a good speaker and will keep you awake if you pay attention to what he says.


so the topic was 'experience CHCKL'. it was basically all about act of love and kindness towards others especially to the new comer at CIty Harvest Church. Rev Kevin pointed out that we should not just 'try' to act kind towards new comer when we try to impress them. instead, we should put in practice in our daily life. no matter at church, university or college, work place and even shopping malls, we ought to constantly show care and kindness to the people around us.


for example, if someone ask you for direction, why not say this: "I know where is that place, but I think it will be better if could lead you the way to there." I totally love this point. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. - Matthew 5:41


that's really a sweet and nice act of love isn't it? the next time people ask for help, do more than expected.

Day 14 of LOVE

class is tiring. Wednesday I'm having class from 8am to 4.30pm including 1 kitchen class. I'm totally worn out after whole day of class.


I was waiting friends after class so that we could go home together. while I was sitting and resting, there's an Indian lady approached me saying that she wants to borrow my mobile phone to make calls. perhaps I've listen to too many story of people borrowing their phones others and that person just snatch it away, when the Indian lady asked me about it, my alertness level was 100% that time. no joke.


so me being the too alert/kia-si girl, refuse to lend my phone to her. instead, I gave her some coins so that she could make phone calls through public phone. call me kia-si or whatever you want.


however, for me, girls gotta learn to protect yourself no matter physically, in a relationship or even socially. this act of mine might not seem pleasing in everyone's eyes as some might think that it's not a big deal to lend others a phone. yes, it's true it is not a big deal to lend a phone to others. but perhaps that's not a right moment or right person.

Day 13 of LOVE

it's been about 3 weeks since I last updated about my love project. felt so sorry and bad because I'm not keeping to my own promises.

March is a busy month for me. tons of assignment, presentation and finals for my term 3.

last weekend Sheena came to KL for a short holiday trip and we manage to meet up. being able to spend time with her really makes me happy. missing my KK peeps badly.

so we actually spent 2 full day together going around malls and brought her to visit City Harvest Church. we also get to talk something heart to heart as she came over my place to stay over. I just love spending time with loves one.

I guess the good thing of studying at West Malaysia is that sometimes you can still meet up KK friends as quite a number of them always travel to the west and we're able to meet up.

Day 12 of LOVE

been neglected my blog for about a week.

I'm just too lazy to update every single day. but I promise to update it as often as I can.

so on my day 12, I remember I was all alone at home. did not go anywhere nor do anything. not even eating a proper meal.

the only thing I did is chatting on skype with Walter. this dude is really sweet and caring. he's the first one who gave me a birthday gift on my big 19. an original autograph of Jay Chou all the way from Taiwan! appreciate and love it very much!

we used to chat on skype quite often when he's at Taiwan, but not when he's at KK. I suppose we will get back to this routine again as he's back to Taiwan now.

conversation with him is really different from what I normally talk to my other guy's friend. we just know each other too well. 5 years of friendship and still growing.

a lot of times we depends on friends a lot and we show them our true self naturally. I guess that's what real friends are. they are the one who will see all your best and worst moments.

Day 11 of LOVE

it was my birthday yesterday and guess who's the first to text me? Rachelle! missing her cause we didn't get to spend much time during CNY as she went back to Tawau. we only manage to watch a movie together and went for night market. at least better than nothing =)

I was actually hoping for some or at least one phone call from friends to wish me. nowadays with the ease of social network, sms and phone calls seems to be diminishing. oh well, I guess not everyone are like me that love phone calls and something more personal.

anyway, back to topic. I did received lots of birthday wishes through facebook though. thanks to the birthday reminder, otherwise I dont think there will me that many people wishing me. 

went for class in the morning and the group mate sang birthday song to me during Business Maths class. then the lecturer asked me to stand in front to say something about myself. I was like "omg, this is so damn awkward. what do I need to say? I have nothing to say." and then one of them suggested me to write my Chinese name cause our lecturer come from Tehran which he knows nothing about Mandarin. end up I told them the history of how I got my name.

class ends at 5pm yesterday and when I reached home it was already 6pm+, I was all worn out. so tired due to kitchen class. rest a bit and get ready for birthday dinner with Ketty and Kelly. we went for Korean bbq as I was craving for it. they gave me a mini surprise after the meal with a birthday cake. I am really happy for the cake cause I was hoping for one. thanks to the girls, I had a great night with food and fellowship.

though it was birthday, but I told the girls in advance that I'll pay for the meal. it's not that I'm wealthy or what, but I just wanna bless them.

Day 10 of LOVE

usually my class start early in the morning. but on Thursday, my class start at 2 pm .


I always take bus to uni but the last bus it's on 12pm, they are having lunch break from 12pm to 2pm. so I have no choice but to hop on 12pm's bus and reach uni early doing nothing.


however, that day my friend from another group having class about the same time as me. he offered to pick me and I really thankful for that. it is because I can't wake up later and don't need to reach uni earlier to waste time.


a lot of times I'm just so thankful of the friends I met in life, they are always ready to bless me.

Day 9 of LOVE

it's been more than a week since I started my love project.

I thought that I can only fulfill this project by me helping others. however, yesterday I was blessed by others.

after my kitchen class, I was thirsty and wanted to buy drinks from the vending machine. unfortunately the machine only accept RM1 & RM5 note, but I only have RM10 note in my purse. a few of my friends was there and asked them if they have change. turn out, they buy me a drink instead of exchanging money with me.

honestly, I did not expect that. not being pampered by others for too long, I somehow feel loved by this group of friends. it's random but sweet enough.

thank God for wonderful friends. thank God for putting different friends into my life and mould me who I am today.

Day 8 of LOVE

when was the last time you had a quiet time with yourself and not being disturb by others?


ever since I left home for studies, I have a lot of personal time for myself, a lot of my activities were cut down. to some people it may seems I'm having a boring life. however, I always tell myself to enjoy every stage of life.


today I spent some time reflect back of all the time since I came here. wrote a note to my future self. it somehow motivate me by listing down things I want to achieve.

Day 7 of LOVE

it's chap goh mei today, which means mode for CNY: Off.

to be honest, I'm still in holiday mode especially when I was back to hometown during CNY. missing lots of fun and companion back then. whenever I come back to the west, it's like back to the cruel reality. 

went Mid Valley for the day with Tim & Jamie. thanks to their companion, otherwise I'll be going alone. planned to get a book for my course but too bad, both Borders and MPH no stock :(

then went over Jamie's place for dinner. she cooked bak kut teh soup, not the best but it's good enough for us as we were all apart from home. having bak kut teh as dinner I'm already contented.

dad called after dinner time. he never fail to call me on every special occasion day and also every time when I come back to west from home. just to check on and make sure I'm safe. talked to my queen as well which is my popo =) I know she's missing me a lot. every time when we talk on phone, she always ask did I eat and how's my studies. she never fail to remind every single time to trust in God, pray more and have faith. 

I really love having phone calls from parents and ma queen. they are what keep me moving forward.

Day 6 of LOVE

second day of long weekend.


didn't do much thing today besides cleaning my room's floor. went to the mall to refill some grocery. walk 20 minutes under the sun to reach the mall cause I'm trying to save money by cutting down the unnecessary. 


talking about cut down, I think I did it today when I went for grocery shopping. I spent on necessary stuff for 90%. yea, I know you guys must be wondering why not 100%. cause that 10% I bought an ice-cream and a chocolate for my own indulge. 


but overall I'm happy cause I actually did not overspend yet I bought what I need.


going mid valley tomorrow to buy books and hopefully able to buy a suitable birthday gift for my dearest cell leader.


start love today by spending money wisely. no matter you are spending by self-earn money or parent's allowance, spend wisely so that you can save up for future use :)

Day 5 of LOVE

it's been 7 months+ I'm living alone at another city without my family members beside me. I must say at times things are not as easy as I thought. there's been a lot of time I hope I can go home and see all my family members after attending uni's classes. unfortunately, reality is not as fancy as I thought. 

everyday after class, I come back to my little cubic facing 4 walls and my faithful laptop. a lot of times I just feel that I'm so lifeless.

so, called mum and dad today.

being an outstation student like me, calling parents become a to-do list. the to-do list here I'm not referring it as a task or burden, I actually love having conversation with my mum and dad through phone calls.

Day 4 of LOVE

suppose to update this post yesterday but I was too tired to do so after coming back from cell group.

the topic for last night cell group was 'From rubbish to Jesus'. such strong topic isn't it? I would not say much about that topic cause if I do, the highlight of this post will be affected.

so as I mentioned, I attended cell group last night which at first I wasn't feel like going. However, in the end I still make the effort to go.

relating it to my LOVE project, you guys must be wondering how I'm gonna relate it. 

sometimes by showing up and giving support to someone with your presence it's an act of love as well. participation acts an important role in an organization and of course in a cell group. 

after all, by showing up ain't that difficult. continue to love others as you make an effort to show up to support them =)

Day 3 of LOVE

life at the west is basically almost the same every week. it become a routine of what you constantly doing especially for a uni student like me.

so today I went on with my routine. wake up. survive and go back to sleep (^o^)

took bus to come home after class. while hoping down the bus, I pass by the bus driver and thanked him. I actually realize not many people say thank you to the bus driver. though we all pay for the trip, but saying a thank you is not a big deal right?

Day 2 of LOVE

it's the second day of my LOVE project :)

feeling great so far. it's just the second day, how can I say it bad right? stupid me

anyway, this morning woke up early because I need to go uni earlier to print lecture notes before class.

while walking to the com lab, called class rep to ask did he prints the notes for us. fyi, he always help all of us to print notes and stuff then we just need to pay the printing fees to him.

so yeah, called and get to know that he didn't print it out. so I offered to help him print it as well without asking him to pay back the money =)

Day 1 of LOVE

Started it today, 31st Jan 2012.

While walking to class this morning, a group of student approach me to donate for charity by buying the cookies. Without much hesitation, I asked for the price of the cookies. It was RM5 per packet. I gave them RM5 from my purse without taking the cookies. I hope they could at least sell that 1 more packet to help the unfortunate and bless the community. 

May God's blessing be upon these kind soul.

100 days act of LOVE

I wanted to do this quite some time ago but didn't really get into action.
Till this year, 2012 I decided to take it as one of my resolution.

Inspired by Ps. Jaeson Ma, he started it as 365 days act of love. The idea is to show more care and love to the people around our life.
From talking it and now come to action, I am not trying to be boast or anything, but simply to show more care and love to the surrounding.
I hope by doing so I could change myself into a better attitude person and simultaneously train my own discipline.
I will try my best to update on my blog of what I have did everyday in fulfilling this task.
