2 Chronicles 20:15-17 (New Living Translation)
15 He said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow, march out against them. You will find them coming up through the ascent of Ziz at the end of the valley that opens into the wilderness of Jeruel. 17 But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!”
I was the emcee for last Saturday night at Eklektos celebration. and during prayer time, I shared these verses and told all my brothers and sisters not to afraid or be discouraged. basically I just something simple and short, a little testimony of me. but I feel like to share it here to...
during the starting of the year, we always heard people said new year, new hope and new challenge. challenge is always not easy and tough at times. no one said it will be easy, but what we do is we must bear in mind that God is with us in every situation. when we face difficulties and challenge, we tend to forget God and always go in our ways.
like I shared before, I told the people that last year something really sad happen to me and I was so down at that time. but God's word had change the way I used to be. we always wanna remeber good memories and wanna forget bad memories. but in my point of view,I dont think so. cause those are memories and you can never forget about it. just think is a way of learning & process of growing up. then I pray and go on for my part of emcee.
later on, Rev. Lee share the words with us. and he shared about times we facing difficulties too. I was so amazed cause the verses above is a last minute thing which I search on net. but God just lead me what He wanna said.
I'm really happy and satisfy with my verses that I shared last Saturday. cause I knew is not me who is speaking but Jesus Christ. and I always remind myself to pray before talking about Him to my freinds.
